You may have heard people say that throwing money at public education won’t make it any better.

But you can be sure that little can be done to improve our schools without increased funding.

In Arizona, it matters what you do with your money, because our legislators refuse to make education a priority, our students have been cheated out of a quality public education.

Arizona consistently ranks 50th in per pupil spending.

In 2004, the per pupil  for each student in Arizona was $5,347 -- in New Jersey it was $11,390.

By adequately funding their public schools, New Jersey has the 2nd highest graduation rates in the country.

Funding education does make a difference.

Each student in Arizona is being short-changed $6,043 per year... In the 13 academic years that child spends in school that’s $78,559.

Our goal is to close these gaps, and improve public education for every child in Arizona.
